It's time to ditch that yellow pad and step up to Call Notes. His name is Cy Hilty and for years he has dabbled in computer software…as a hobby. But now he Cy Hilty June 2024 has created a system that helps businesses keep and track phone calls…from a request to a completed transaction. Meet Our Members - Colfax Tractor Parts

Recently I took a trip down a gravel road in tiny Colfax, Iowa to visit with Jeff Bucklin of Colfax Tractor Parts. They own 100 acres full of nearly every type Jeff Bucklin 17 May 2024 of used agriculture equipment out there. The founder of the business, Bennie Bucklin (79) still puts in a full week of work helping identify where various tractors, combines, planters, skid loaders are located. Now, get this: They ship these tractor and construction parts all over the globe. It's a big deal. In addition they also buy "gently used" vehicles, detail 'em and sell those as well. Come along for a great family story we think you'll enjoy.

We have known Paul Kelly for several years as a loyal NTPDA member and when we invited him to sit down for an interview about his company MaxiForce I was in for a surprise story Paul Kelly MaxiForce Sept 2023 about his father Santiago Morales.  We all knew Santiago, who recently passed away, but I did not know this amazing story about his involvement with the CIA, the failed Bay of Pigs invasion of Cuba that resulted in him being in a Cuban prison for 18 years. Wengers of Myerstown - Meet Jake Walmer

Last month NTPDA held our Summer Board Meeting and Social in Lancaster County in Pennsylvania. It was an amazing trip. So much Jake Walmer July 2023 history and things to see and do. (Like dining at an inn that George Washington frequented.) Along with our Board we had a number of members join us for the weekend. Our host was Wengers of Myerstown a multi-generation company that is seriously crushing it when it comes to construction and agricultural parts. Here we sit down with family member Jake Walmer and talk about the past, present and future.  How this company has continued to expand, where their market is and how technology has made a huge difference in overall sales. All States Ag Parts Acquires Romac Industrial Parts

Legacy Member All States Ag Parts has announced it has acquired Romac Industrial Parts bringing the total sites in North America up to 42.  Romac specializes All states ag logo in replacement ground engaging tools including bucket teeth for excavators as well as blades for graders, bulldozers and other construction equipment. These products are available for most makes and models of equipment. Romac is headquartered in Woodstock, GA. 

“The acquisition of Romac will further strengthen our ability to serve the construction parts industry with the addition of ground engaging parts that are not currently in our product mix,” said Bill Davidson, President of All States Ag Parts.

Meet Our Members - Tractor-Line with Alex Ho

Technology can be our friend...sometimes. Stay with us on this as you are about to meet Alex Ho the director of sales and marketing for Tractor-Line a ALEX HO (2) company based in Malaysia. The company has been in operation since 1989 and isn't limited to just manufacturing but the entire  process from design to production, machining to engineering, raw materials to finished goods and packaging. 

In addition the company specializes in a host of tractor parts hydraulic to axles, cylinders to buckets. Alex tells us their products are equal or better than some OEM parts. Finally Tractor-Line has the capacity to service global customers and seeking relationships with wholesalers, dealers, parts importers, and brands for OEM collaboration in industries that include construction, forestry, mining and agriculture. Big News from Member All States Ag Parts

And the acquisitions keep coming as All States Ag Parts has acquired H&R Construction Parts allowing the company to enter the industrial and construction H&R Parts Logo parts arena.

Long known as a leader in new aftermarket, used and remanufactured parts for ag equipment this move gives All States Ag Parts and their customers the ability to buy products from one source.

“This is a great acquisition for us,” said John Dyke, CEO of All States Ag Parts. “We’ve already successfully expanded our skid steer parts line at All States Ag Parts. H&R Construction Parts will be the cornerstone for our new construction equipment division,” said Dyke.

“Current H&R Construction customers, working through our sales team, will continue to have access to the same products and programs currently offered,” said Dyke, “but will have access to many additional products in the very near future with not only ag parts, but also a greatly expanded selection of construction equipment parts.”

Nick ASAPIn a related development All States Ag Parts, LLC announced that Nick Ecker, long associated with the heavy truck salvage business, will become the general manager for the recently acquired company and will lead the new construction division.

Ecker comes to All States with over 10 years of operations experience with LKQ heavy truck salvage parts. The past 5 years were spent as a District Manager where he was responsible for salvage purchasing, operations and remanufacturing facilities for 13 locations.

“I’m excited to be joining the All States Ag Parts team. All States has a strong presence and is well respected in the ag parts industry,” said Ecker. “H&R Construction Parts will become the cornerstone for our new construction equipment division for All States,” said Ecker.

Because there is significant crossover of inventory and equipment between the ag and industrial world this new combination is now positioned to provide better solutions for ag and construction customers.
